About 2 weeks after that, I suddenly find myself having difficulties peeing. At first, Mum bought me a new tray, and everything was well. But after that, no matter no long I stay at the tray to pee, nothing comes out. No matter no much I lick my little birdy, nothing comes out as well!

Fearing a blockage, which can be fatal to male cats within 24 hours, Mum rushed me to the vet. There, they say I have crystals, which formed a plug and it blocked my urinary tract. My bladder was full, but not enlarged and my internal organs are still ok. So, I was admitted to hospital and the vets and nurses there put something called a catheter through my little birdy to drain the pee from my bladder.

At first, there was blood and it was very uncomfortable because I am also attached to another tube for liquids. But then, after about 2 days, they took off the catheter and I am supposed to pee on my own.

Mum knows how particular I am with my toiletry business. After the vet tried to expressed my bladder, they sort of come to a conclusion that my bladder and urinary tract are still able to function, and it is that I do not want to pee. It is common sense, because my urinary tract is so sore after the catheter is placed there for a few days. Mum took my litter tray over and I managed to pee and poo-ed!

Yeah! After a few days of monitoring, the vets and nurses declared that I can go home! I kind of missed my family members and I felt sooo good when they came to visit me!

Mum is now so concerned about our urinary health that she decided to change our diet and also to monitor our urine pH level.
As for me, I am just happy to go back home and be the king that I am at home!
