Hello everyone! It has been a long hiatus! Mum has been busy with her studies and all, and I also took the initiative to do some self upgrading.
As a cat, I am proud to be one with intellectual capabilities. Many of you may know that cats are natural with numbers and Math. We cats have puzzled many Mathematicians with our precise calculation of the parabolas when jumping. Many engineers are also trying to look at how we can time our movement so precisely with the energy stored in our powerful legs when we pounce.
Fear not, for Professor Oi is here to help! For this first lesson by Professor Oi, I have kindly asked Miao Miao to help me. We will go through the basics of circles.
This is Miao's face. As you can see, it is really.... round. We need to know that circle has a center, and this is where a radius is drawn. Every point on the circumference of the circle has the same distance from the center of the circle, which is called the radius.
From Miao's round face, Mum has drawn a nice circle and indicated where is the center point of the circle. Hence, we can measure the radius of Miao's circular face.
Got it? I hope you enjoyed my first Cat-thematics lesson. See you soon!
Oh....we love the sun, especially here in Singapore.
All of us are indoor cats, which means mum will only allow us out if we are in harness or stroller. Miao Miao found a place in the house where he can enjoy the warmth of the sun, in the comfort of the house.
That's it! You see, the sun shines into my grandparents' (mum's parents) room every morning. So Miao Miao sexily lay down to have his tan.
All three of us, Miao Miao, Huyi and me, went for the AVA RPO 2012 roadshow as pet volunteers for the SPCA. Though me and Miao Miao had some experience in 2011, it is always scary for us to go public.
Nevertheless, this time round it is much easier because my stroller is finally here! Mum is able to manage all 3 of us and we can also find security by hiding in the private compartment of the stroller. It is cool, isn't it? Anyway, Huyi hid there most of the time...
Anyway, Miao Miao had the privilege of being cuddled by the minister who came to visit.
As for me, I blossomed in the many pettings and cuddles. Although these had to be closely monitored by mum cos my grumpyness can come anytime!
It was fun and tiring to be walking around the many legs. Byt at the end of it, we all had fun!
